Survey your school
Philadelphia Citizens for Children and Youth created these checklists for citizens to survey their schools. See if your school has the basics, a solid infrastructure and necessary resources required to provide children with a high-quality public education.
Each survey has approximately 40 questions ranging from general observation questions to opinions on the quality of your school. Surveys can be completed by parents, students, or school officials. Every citizen is encouraged to complete the survey for their school.
Then use the results of the survey to report to your school board, newspaper, legislators, and community members about the conditions and needs of your schools.
